MOYA NETWORK — INTERNET FOR SOUTH AFRICA The Extraordinary Networks . . . .

Introduction

Africa is the second largest and second largest continent in the world. This continent is home to one-seventh of the world’s population. With such a population, you can imagine how great the potential for the development of technology, industry and business, especially in South Africa. The slow growth of the Internet in South Africa compared to other countries has led to a slow growth in technology, industry and business, demonstrating the potential for demand for broadband. In South Africa, cables such as SAT-3 and WAC have reached unsurpassed market positions, resulting in data rates 10–20 times more expensive than markets outside Africa. Recent market research estimates the cost of a single STM-1 for an international connection to Africa to $ 115,000 per month. The current market price for satellite access to Africa ranges from $ 4,000 to $ 8,000 per Mbit / s per month. To correct the current performance gaps discovered in southern Africa, MOYA is here to answer all this.
Rapidly expanding Internet requirements in Africa The
low penetration rate in Africa clearly indicates the unmet demand for broadband Internet connections. Over the past ten years, the requirements for inexpensive broadband connections have exploded in Africa. Applications such as Facebook, Skype and Mobile Money contributed to the rapid increase in demand for customer data in Africa.
Moya solutions will offer a range of services for the transmission of network services with a world-class synchronous digital hierarchy (“SDH”) and an Internet protocol (“IP”) designed to meet the needs of a wide range of African Internet Service Providers (ISPs), international carriers, suppliers Internet access, large multinational enterprises and governments.

About Us

Underwater cable network — the heart of the internet
The biggest and most important winner in the world — yet unsung — is a private submarine cable that orbits the Earth. The land connection between the city and the cable that runs along the road and into the home and office is certainly impressive — and without it we will not have the internet! — but drowning wires into the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific, India and even the Arctic Sea requires a multibillion-dollar logistical achievement that requires years to come into effect. The African Sea Cable to Europe Submarine (“ACE”) began to be installed in 2009 in an attempt to build a submarine cable of 17,000 Kms from Europe to Africa. Moya will link the capacity of ACE from South Africa and distribute its capacity throughout South Africa through its Backhaul Network.
